Who is responsible
Mo Ravaei, Leipzig, Germany. Email: [email protected]. This is a personal website: writing about software, and a way to get in touch.
Visiting the site
The site runs on a server at Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) and is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks. Both process your IP address and request details in short-lived technical logs needed to run and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts come from Google Fonts and styling libraries from jsDelivr, so your browser contacts those services when it loads a page. There is no analytics or advertising tracking.
Cookies
The only cookies are technical: a login cookie for the site owner's admin area and short-lived cookies that protect forms. Nothing is used to track you across sites.
Booking a call
If you book a call, the name, email address, company (optional) and topic you enter are used to create the meeting in Mo's Google Calendar and to send you the invitation, including a Google Meet link. This is needed to arrange the call you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Google LLC processes this data as the calendar provider; the invitation is sent from a Google account. A bot check by Cloudflare may run on the booking form. Booking details are deleted or anonymised 90 days after the meeting, unless we are in contact beyond that.
If you write to me, your message and address are kept as long as needed to answer and follow up (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email the address above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in Saxony that is the Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte.
